Tour guiding and Visitor Experience in disruptive times

 About Course
    This course aims to explore the relationships between tour guiding and visitor experience by addressing the complex and multiple roles of the tourist guide in contemporary tourism; reviewing different types of visitors; determining visitor needs and preferences in new product development; and identifying meaningful ways to create a visitor experience in disruptive times.
 Objectives
  • Students will be able to discuss the complex and multiple roles of a tour guide in contemporary tourism.
  • Describe the causes and consequences of the climate crisis.
  • Students will be able to differentiate types of tourists and identify consumer needs and preferences in new product development
  • Students will be able to indicate meaningful ways to create a visitor experience in disruptive times.

 Evaluation
  • The results are measured and assessed through the post-test of 100 points. Students must score a total score of 70% or more to be able to obtain the Certificate.
