 About Course
    Hiragana and Katakana characters; Fundamentals of basic Japanese grammar (noun-ending sentences, particles, demonstratives, verb-ending sentences, non-past and past tenses); Basic vocabulary; Basic communication about personal topics (self and others); Description of Japan; Design of written products in the target language; Expressing existence, preferences, and agreement; Comparing cultures.
 Objectives
  • TO 1: To identify fundamental grammar concepts (noun-ending sentences, particles, demonstratives, verb-ending sentences, and non-past and past tenses) and use them in simple short texts (written and oral).
  • TO 2: To apply fundamental grammar and vocabulary knowledge to produce simple short oral and written texts about personal topics, Japan, and their own country.
  • TO 3: To Conduct basic communication exchanges about personal topics.
  • TO 4: To read and paraphrase simple short texts in Japanese related to personal topics and Japan.

 Evaluation
  • The results are measured and assessed through the post-test of 100 points. Students must achieve a total score of 70% or more to be able to obtain the Certificate.
